IT

It pissed on the floor.
Now I’d have to clean that up.
Oh, I wish I didn’t have to,
But there were guests coming
And all this needs to be cleaned now,
So I gave it a kick and it whined
It crawled to a corner of the room.
That will do for now,
It won’t trouble me for a while.

There’s so much left to do,
I have to wipe that blood on the kitchen counter,
Tidy the kitchen,
And of course, clean the piss!
Shouldn’t have lost my mind.
I know.
But today is an important day.
There’s supposed to be a housewarming party,
My colleagues invited themselves.
I tried to make excuses
None worked.

After a long day at work,
Stopped at the bar for a while,
And as soon as I entered,
Saw it slacking in the kitchen
And I lost it.
It had work to do!
But I realised a bit late
That the food was almost cooked,
The house cleaned,
All washed and set.
But now it looked ugly with those wounds
On its face and arms.
So I’ll have to keep it in hiding
And I’ll have to make excuses again.
Maybe I’ll just tell my colleagues
That my ‘wife’ is out partying like always.

I love to write. I prefer writing in a notebook. Typing my heart out isn't really my thing but I'm in for new challenges!!

  1. Today why women’s are shy to come out from the kitchen is because of this. They are brutally beaten up as if she is a animal. Some men (not all) are marrying women not to lead a family life but they required a cook, they need someone to take care of their parents, seek pleasure, after some time some one to take care of their children. 24×7 someone is required to work. So for that work world has give a label or a title called “Wife”. Once we shall think she too has her own likeness and desire. There are some men who really love their wives. Let’s learn from them and join our hands to protect females.
